On November 5 th members were invited to a barbecue which was held at the home of the Chairman in Mundaring, members were asked only to bring their own meat, and everything else was provided at the venue, assisted by numerous donations, in cash and kind. It was a happy and relaxing day in a colourful garden setting.

The final event for the year was the annual Christmas lunch held as usual, at Wentworth's Plaza hotel. The traditional Christmas fare was well presented and enjoyed by all in a happy festive mood.

Numerous prizes were won by the raffle draw and a donation of dinner for two from Wentworth Plaza Hotel was won by Marie Barratt.

The winner was identified by the "lucky chair" which had a green sticker underneath. A river cruise is at the planning stage for March 4 th and member are asked to bear this in mind when bookings open at the next meetings of January and February.
