In My Memory

Turning back the page
To a long ago age
I watch myself happy there
Without a single care

Sitting on the sun warmed rocks
Birds soar over in their flocks
As the sun gradually slides away
Marking the end of another day

Beautiful colours paints the sky
A lion sends forth his powerful cry
And the peaceful wind gently blows
In the distance a rushing river flows

To the horizon as far as the eye can see
Grassy plans of wonderous animals roam free
I love it here, in my untouchable past
If only this dream could forever last
