To a long ago age
I watch myself happy there
Without a single careSitting on the sun warmed rocks
Birds soar over in their flocks
As the sun gradually slides away
Marking the end of another dayBeautiful colours paints the sky
A lion sends forth his powerful cry
And the peaceful wind gently blows
In the distance a rushing river flowsTo the horizon as far as the eye can see
Grassy plans of wonderous animals roam free
I love it here, in my untouchable past
If only this dream could forever last© Michelle Wolhuter
