11th November

Well it has come and gone,
as each year it can do,
and next year we will go again,
to the places that men died and fell,
for truth, pride and home.

Men who can truly be called men,
who gave their all for those left,
and those that are recall,
those times they had,
both good and bad,
and fights that will soon be gone,
with the dawning of a new sun.

So here we stand,
and do not forget,
for the first one who does,
will hold nothing firm,
for blood spilt in honours name,
must be remembered,
for a new day.

Rhodesians of the World,
with voices high unite,
sing praise to the land we loved,
and honour those who fell and fought.
