Daydreams

If only I had the capacity, to cleanse your soul and set you free.
That all would work in harmony, for the common good of the country.
If only I had the ability, to create a poem causing liberty.
That the country had a guarantee, she would not again suffer indignity.

If only I had the strength in me, to pool the power of each memory.
That the land could go from bended knee, to it's true strength and prosperity.
If only I could all infect, for the rule of law to have respect.
That the people have integrity, when using their ingenuity.

But it's only my mind scheming, yes it's just my daydreaming.
Man will be what he is to man, while poverty and ignominy rule the land.
